History

The Savana is GMC’s full-size passenger van. The Savana name was added in 1996 when the full-size GMC van was redesigned. Major upgrades were added for 2003, including available all-wheel drive.

The 2007 GMC Savana adds a FlexFuel E85-capable version of the 5.3-liter 295-horsepower V8 which is now the standard engine on all Savanas.
