Description:	Heinz and Gudrun Fischer founded Audiotec Fischer in 1990 and from the very beginning, have been supported by Peter Starke as the director of the Development Department. The pivotal motivation was and is the love of music. It is no coincidence that the small and refined high end workshop has evolved into one of the most respected German car hifi producers. The intensive involvement with the technical requirements for perfect music playback has led to the continual creation of unique high end solutions. In the near future, the world can even look forward to elegant hifi and home cinema components. Audiotec Fischer is a born-and-bred manufacturer with production in the Sauerland region of Germany, contrary to many hifi companies which produce almost exclusively abroad. In 1992, the car hifi division was founded with the brand Brax, and with a few employees in a 200 m² production building in Schmallenberg, additional power supply units for car hifi equipment were built. In 1996, Audiotec Fischer began producing power amplifiers under the Brax brand name. The new brand Helix was launched in 1997, and Helix power amplifiers were available starting in 1998. With this, a move into a new 1,700 m² company building was necessary, but the company did not turn its back to Schmallenberg despite its restricted transport connections: the peacefulness in the heart of the Sauerland seems to have a invigorating effect on the creative development of the employees. There is no other way to explain the overwhelming success of this extremely successful and ambitious enterprise. Audiotec Fischer is known beyond the European borders and delivers to 46 countries around the world.
