Description:	From 1960-1974 Rene Michiels worked at Jaguar, first as an apprentice and due to this competence and enthusiasm he soon became a qualified technician. In 1974 his passion for Aston Martin resulted in Rene being appointed as Service Manager for the Aston Martin importer at that time. Rene continued in this position until 1983 when the company ceased its activities. In 1984 he started his own family business, at the beginning as Service Dealer for Aston Martin and a few years later in 1990 due to succesful expansion Rene Michiels became the official Franchised Dealer for Belgium. Yves Michiels, Rene's son followed in his father's footsteps and joined him in the company. This perfect partnership enabled Rene Michiels to become one of the most experienced and successful Aston Martin Dealers in the world. Recognition for this achievement came in 1998 when Rene Michiels was awarded the "Service Excellence Award" in 1998, and also joining Paris and Geneva in being designated an Aston Martin Heritage Dealer.
