Chicopee Engineering Associates, Inc. takes a practical approach to filter
design and construction. A coalescer or separator that holds its shape under
pressure will maintain the maximum filtering surface area for improved
performance. It's rigid construction helps maintain more even pressure
differentials keeping the filter from collapsing and shutting down your
compressor.
Their separators are designed with retainer clips that are pre-positioned and
welded to the flange and bottom plate to ensure metal to metal contact
throughout the separator package. This also adds critical strength that keeps
our elements from distorting during operation.
Concentric. Circular. Round. That's a description of how a filter should look
before you install it. Look at the average mass-produced filter and it's almost
anything but. No wonder so many of them fail prematurely. They also filter
unevenly leading to oil carryover.
When you use a Chicopee Separator - round is what it is. Because of how it's
constructed each element produced is identical. You won't find a Chicopee
Separator failing prematurely - it can't. You get less than 3PPM oil carry-over
as a consistent standard. With their air/oil separators, your compressors
perform better, use significantly less oil, and last longer. |
